New Work = New Clothes

Just before my vacation (which I will blog about soon), I started another part time job at Catherine's Plus Size, a sister store to Lane Bryant. So I got a couple things to show off the brand. I know it's tailored to an older audience, but there are a few cute things that I just had to get!

New Crafts

Fused plastic sewn together.

Last week a customer and I were discussing plastic bags and she was telling me how I can cut the tops and bottoms off cheap shopping bags, iron them together, then sew them into new things like tote bags. I got so excited to try a new craft, especially one that included recycling, I just had to try it out!

I made a tote for Trista's Birthday.
